Evans Fire Protection District strives to protect the residents of Evans from unforeseen life and property tragedy. An important step in doing this is educating residents about fire safety, hazards, and emergency preparedness. We feel it is especially important to educate our children. To connect with the children in our community we offer tours of the Fire Station and fire trucks, puppet shows, and smoke house. Our safety programs include in-home life & fire safety, and outdoor safety tips. We are currently working on fire preparedness/juvenile fire starter’s intervention programs.

EFPD serves four Weld County District 6 schools, with classes from Head Start program to 8th Grade.
